Opel unveils Opel Adam: the ultimate association between modernity and authenticity in a brand new electric concept-car. A futuristic creation designed to fit a "good design and easy life" tendency.
To develop from concept to completion of a short film, creatively and stylistically related to a fashion designer whos fashion shows were sponsored by Opel.
When Opel invited us to preview its newest model, the daily newssite turned to us to conceive, script, cast, direct, and produce a distinctive video that would convey the brand’s design, performance, and lifestyle. The film takes viewers on a test drive with the fashion designer Jesús Álvarez of the new Opel Adam, shot in a vibrant quick-cut, look-book style taking a narrative approach to showing the car’s capabilities. We wrote and directed this personal letter to Opels’ first ever C-class hybrid with voiceover so the focus would stay on the sleek sedan and the experience, turning our lens toward the city’s creative culture. Shot in a documentary style, this film profiles the tastemakers in the fashion industry playing a supporting role.
Collectively, this multifaceted storytelling approach has helped position the automaker for a youthful and discerning fashion audience. Opel featured the short film on its own website as on its publication. On YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, the film have received tens of thousands of plays, likes, and tweets.
