CITY FACING HOUSING / Brand Identity, Campaigns, Digital Design
The identity project was a response to the official theme, “City facing Housing.”.
This morphing identity illustrated how the city’s housing program optimizes uses, distances and maximize efficiencies for urban planning based on the natural flow of a plan that expands radially.
nimated infographics were created for the event that vividly illustrated the concepts, science and data behind the proposal and lectures of architects like Peter Cook, Ben Van Berkel, MdRDV, Wiel Arets, David Chipperfield, Jo Coenen, Shepard and Robson.
One of the idea behind this identity was to make it as much present as possible during the event’s public moments.
orking as a cyclorama, an immersive panoramic image of this organic element projected behind each presentation worked as a circular dimensional model of the city’s urban program.
n “animated” printed version over each element of the marketing materials detailed how the adaptable form can provide a beneficial land of use to represent the idea con the congress through the identity.
The continuous morphing of this identity progresses from a global to a granular view as data metaphor about the city’s areas of development.
The dynamic branding of elements created a powerful portrait of the city urban activities as told during the congress through pressing issues and topics, including overviews of population, urban growth, and comparisons of factors such as cultural crossings, access to healthcare or drug consumption statistics.
