Madrid Fashion Week (MFSHOW) ranks alongside as one of the fashion weeks. It presents itself to funders as a trade event that also attracts significant press attention and benefit the city. A theme-focused event, takes place immediately afterwards at the same venue and is open to the general public.
MFSHOW approached Manuel to rebrand its identity and visualize the evolution happening under its busy calendar. A new brand to communicate the evolution and activity of the event, and it’s strength in the fashion industry.
Manuel proposed a development to it’s brand image. The acronisme MFSHOW was upgraded to a more adaptable and contemporary one, developing a variable system that communicates the different departments.
In order to adapt its form and style I created a new complete typography based on the creation of an ambigrame by the combination of the M(Men) and W(Women) as the two pillars that structure each fashion show.
The new design was created considering every online platform and physical marketing material, as the event’s communication channel extend to the website, social media, as well as stationary and signage.
The graphic composition of the new brand is clean and modern, with negative space that give the symbol strength, while allowing the dynamic use of imagery.
