A new program of signage and environmental graphics enhances this new cultural center's unique sense of place. The basic idea was create a system of very present signage in contrast with the interior design of a new building that inspired by the urban local identity helps guide visitors not only around the space but overall around the activities.
Open to the public, this cultural center is home to 17 different spaces where visitors can lounge on chill out areas, play sports, view art exhibitions, attend concerts and dance performances, and explore art studios, all in close contact with the local identity of the neighborhood.
The center is a somewhat surreal space that brings a pack of new activities for your and older neighbors. Manuel designed a signage and environmental graphics that enhance this unique sense of place.
