KMS Surf Boards / Creative, Art Direction and Design
KMS is a stablished surf boards company aiming to become one of the most exclusive suppliers in the industry. With the main workshop in Bali, Komang Sudarma, head and spirit of the company, encompass some of the finest surf board designs in the world. The brand needed to convey an intense feel while remaining very sophisticated and high-end.
The symbol is a combination of the letters ‘K’, ‘M’ and ‘S’, the acronym of Komang Sudarma, in order to create a contemporary visual language that is carried throughout all printed, digital and physical applications. Manuel designed KMS’s brand identity, being the challenge to communicate the genuine brand’s spirit and reason why. The typography was conceived to emphasize the energy and young touch that defines Komang’s designs.
